The Indonesian government promises high fines or withdrawn social assistance for Jakarta residents who refuse to be vaccinated against covid-19. The fine largely makes vaccination mandatory.
A presidential order was announced earlier this month that stipulated that anyone who refused the vaccine could be denied social assistance and government services or pay a fine, reports MSN.
The penalty would be determined by regional health authorities or by local authorities.
